Zawaj Events is a matrimonial service catering specifically for Muslims all over the UK. We acknowledge that matchmakers are taking advantage of Muslim Brothers and Sisters, who are single and seeking marriage for profit purposes. One of our aims is to eliminate this as we do not wish to conduct these events to make a fortune... after all we all know that we can’t take this money to our grave. Insha’Allah we will try our best to run this project in the best Islamic fashion possible. Unlike the other events we don't ask anyone to change their personalities. The atmosphere we create is designed for everyone to feel comfortable and to be themselves, so if you’re a shy person this is the only event that is suitable for you. We understand where you are coming from, as we have been in your situation and we have spent a lot of money looking for our spouses. Muslims have spent too much money searching for their loved ones. We want to make this experience as affordable as possible. We have formatted our events and bureau services in a way where we do not lose focus on our participants. Our main aim is to build this project through research and marketing to those brothers and sisters who don’t have the chance to look for marriage; don’t have a big social circle or lack in self-confidence. We try our best to search for people who fall into these categories to ensure they are given a fair chance. People who are shy, or over confident tend to try and change their personality. We at Zawaj Events will organise our settings in a way for everyone to be themselves and if you’re a shy person we won’t force you to speak up but allow you to open up in a way you feel most comfortable. We aim to target this specialised niche market via our professional events, contacts and of course with your help and assistance Insha’Allah. We try our best to ensure everything is followed in the Islamic way, which means no haram-mingling as I’m sure you are aware there are many other places for this. Therefore, we expect all Muslims who register with us to note this is not a dating service and it is a service for Muslims to find a matrimonial partner. We expect Muslims to respect each other with the correct manners of a devoted Muslim. Parental/Family involvement is incredibly important for the Marriage proposal to progress and we strongly encourage this.
